Call him Octo-dad!

Rod Stewart, 66, became a father for the eighth time on Wednesday after his 39-year-old model wife gave birth to their son, Aiden.

"Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy," a spokesman said.

The singer and his wife, Penny Lancaster, said they were "proud and thrilled" to announce the "long-awaited arrival" of their second child -- a brother to their 5-year-old son, Alastair.

Long-awaited is an understatement, when you consider that Stewart has been alive for more than six decades!

The couple, who married in 2007, have been together for more than 10 years. Lancaster is Stewart's third wife, and his other children range in age from 15 to 46.

Must be pretty weird to have a newborn brother when you're 46!

But Stewart is not the only celeb dad to get busy procreating after age 50.
