Cejudo, 31, has a widely known crush on the 35-year-old brunette bombshell, who seems at least somewhat receptive to his advances.
He gushed about Bella on ESPN's Ariel Helwani's MMA Show and called her a "good luck charm" after meeting her on his flight against TJ Dillashaw, and she responded on Twitter.
"Congrats on your really big win! I would like to think maybe possibly I was a good luck charm meeting you on the flight," Bella said in a video. "And I'm hoping maybe one day in Arizona you can train me before I get back into that ring. I feel like you have a few moves you can show me to really take it to the woman."
She added, "And hey, I know you're “Hey, I mean I know you’re cutting weight and all, but maybe one day we could grab a drink."
Cejudo was over the moon about her reaction to his overtures.
"Wrestling was my first love," Cejudo told TMZ on Tuesday. "What better what to do it with than with a girl that everybody's freakin' drooling over, you know? I met her on the plane on my way over to the UFC. I'm a big fan, I watch her show. My little niece is like, the biggest Nikki Bella fan. Turned into my lucky charm, now she's calling me out on social media."
He added, "Nikki Bella, I ask you to allow Henry Cejudo to grab you and piledrive that heart!"
When Cejudo was asked if he was worried about Cena, 41 — who is twice his weight and over a foot taller than he is — getting in his way, he was unfazed.
"It's not even a question," he said. "I'm talking about a ladder match. I'll be the first one out of that ring and I'll meet Bella right at the corner, man."
