It’s been a year since Rory Feek’s beloved wife Joey passed away on March 4, 2016 from cervical cancer — but his love for her has only grown.

“[I’d] cherish every moment of every day more,” explained the 51-year-old country singer to Simple Grace Magazine on what he would have done differently. “I’d love Joey more and serve her more and do a million gazillion things to show her more how much she means to me. No matter how much of that I did, it still wasn’t enough. She always deserved more.”

RORY FEEK STILL BELIEVES GOD HAS A PLAN FOR EVERYTHING

“You can’t watch the woman you love go through what Joey went through and not be changed,” added Feek. “Changed by her. Changed by God. Changed by her faith and how she lived it out to the end of the line. Joey helped me fully realize the potential of my character…and my walk with God.”

Feek previously spoke with FoxNews.com about how despite going through tough times, like losing his wife and becoming a single dad again, he still believed that God has a reason for everything.

“I believe it every day,” he told Fox News. “I believe that everything that we do is part of a bigger plan and you’ll look back and go everything is different because you did this.”

He continued, “The good parts and the bad parts, you put it all in God’s hands. Even if it doesn’t feel good, it’s ultimately good and that’s what [Joey] felt at the very end.”

Feek recently released a memoir, titled “This Life I Live" chronicling his marriage to the late country singer. He's a father of three to two adult daughters with his ex-wife and one with Joey who is 3.

The new issue of Simple Grace is on newsstands now.
