Nicki Minaj slammed for comparing herself to Harriet Tubman
Nicki Minaj was criticized after she compared herself to Harriet Tubman ahead of her appearance at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Fans slammed the rapper for making the comparison to the historic abolitionist who helped free slaves through the Underground Railroad before the Civil War.
Nicki Minaj still harbors angry feelings toward singer Miley Cyrus.
On her Queen Radio Friday, the 36-year-old rapper insulted the 26-year-old pop star.
“Perdue chickens can never talk s–t about queens,” Minaj said about Cyrus. "But I do notice a lot of Perdue chickens have been trying to say the queen's name for clout. And that's always been happening. And that's what [Cyrus] did in the first place."

"And the white girl cry and made the black girl seem like she was a bad guy.... She disrespected me in a magazine article for no reason," Minaj added.
Then, the "Anaconda“ star then got very explicit. "I had just seen her after she sucked Mike Will’s d–k in the studio,” she alleged. Cyrus and Mike Will collaborated on her album, "Bangerz," in 2013.

Minaj also mentioned Cyrus' most recent project: an episode of Netflix's "Black Mirror," where she plays a pop star named Ashley O who wears a pink wig on stage.
“Now you coming out with pink wigs, all you b--ches wanna be Nicki," she said.
The beef between Cyrus and Minaj started in 2015 when Cyrus revealed that she supported Taylor Swift in a New York Times interview and said about Minaj: "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind."
Swift was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for Best Video in 2015, while Minaj was left out, and the two got in a Twitter spat.

A few days later at the VMA Awards in August 2015, Minaj called out Cyrus (who was hosting) on stage: "Back to this b--ch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?”
And a rivalry was born.
