A man has been arrested at Paris Hilton's Los Angeles home after the socialite said he tried to break into her house while holding two big knives.

"What a scary sight to wake up to," Hilton told RadarOnline.com. "I can't believe the knives he was carrying. Thank god the police arrived quickly."

Police Officer Gregory Baek says the man was arrested about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, but his name hasn't been released.

Hilton wrote on her Twitter page that she was awakened by the man trying to break into her house and send the Twitpic above.

"So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes," Hilton wrote. "Cops are here arresting [him]."

Baek couldn't confirm if the man was armed.
