Sean 'Diddy' Combs seeks immediate prison release

Sean "Diddy" Combs may be behind bars, but he has reportedly found a way to bring the perks of his former luxury lifestyle with him.
Combs, who is serving out his 50-month sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey, has essentially hired a full staff within the prison walls, NBC News reported. Four men living in the same unit as the disgraced music mogul spoke to the outlet about the unusual comforts Combs has secured behind bars.
"He’s a billionaire. People are in awe of him," one of the anonymous sources told the outlet. "Money is power, especially behind bars."

From freshly made beds to cooked meals, clean laundry and Chinese-style massages, Diddy has reportedly turned fellow inmates into a makeshift prison staff.
"This is not some normal s--- you see in jail. This is some rich s---," one of the men told NBC. "It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy."
Contraband cellphones, explicit photos, prescription pills and premium booze — Combs’ alleged prison perks reportedly extend well beyond his makeshift staff.
Sources told NBC News the music mogul uses illicit phones to scroll Instagram and view nude and sexually explicit photos sent by an ex-girlfriend. He has also allegedly purchased Remeron, an antidepressant dubbed "rem-roms" behind bars, from other inmates for its mood-boosting effects.

On weekend nights, Combs would reportedly break into a secret stash of top-shelf liquor allegedly smuggled into the prison by guards and shared with a small circle of inmates.
"You can pretty much get anything except a key to the front door and a female," one of the sources said.
Diddy had even gotten his hands on a "jailbroken" tablet to watch movies – including "Sean Combs: The Reckoning," produced by 50 Cent – according to the men.

Combs’ representative pushed back on the portrayal of his life behind bars, dismissing the attention surrounding his day-to-day routine as overblown.
"The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news," Diddy's rep told Fox News Digital. "The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules, and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal."

Fox News Digital reached out to Fort Dix for comment.
The musician was sentenced on Oct. 3, 2025 to 50 months behind bars, followed by five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine. The rapper was transferred to Fort Dix to serve out the rest of his sentence later that month. As of publication, Diddy's release date was set as Jan. 21, 2028.
Diddy's eight-week trial, during which jurors heard dozens of witness testimonies, concluded on July 2, 2025. The rapper was acquitted on the most serious charges against him – sex-trafficking and racketeering.
The "I'll Be Missing You" singer has filed an appeal. Diddy's team claimed the sentence handed down to him was illegal because the judge relied on charges the jury rejected, according to the appeal briefing obtained by Fox News Digital.
