Jersey jerk: MTV starlet Jwoww calls Gov. Chris Christie 'retarded,' 'disgusting'

They’re all from New Jersey, but that doesn’t mean the “Jersey Shore” stars and Gov. Chris Christie get along.

Gov. Christie has made it clear in the past that he was no fan of starlets Snooki and Jwoww, and it seems that even though their MTV series wrapped last year, the feud between the tan reality stars and the New Jersey governor isn’t over.

Jenni “Jwoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi were leaving dinner on Monday night when a cameraman asked the women about the governor.

“He’s retarded,” Farley said. “He’s a disgrace to New Jersey, just like we were.”

Farley and Polizzi have changed their public images significantly since the show premiered in 2009. Polizzi is now a mother and both women are engaged. But despite a somewhat amicable meeting back in May, it seems the ladies are still harboring negative feelings towards Gov. Christie.

Farley was quick to tweet that she regretted her use of the word "retarded" in describing the politician. She said she disagrees strongly with the governor's stance on gay marriage.

"So I apologize for my choice of words but I do not apologize for how I feel towards him," Farley tweeted. "I do find him disgusting and judgmental. I'm for gay equality."
