It has been estimated that more than 3 million children in the U.S. have food allergies. Apparently one-third or more of children over the age of 5, who are allergic to certain foods, have experienced harassment, and bullying at school because of their food allergies, according to researchers at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City found.
