A man who told police he fatally shot his daughter in anger at their suburban Cleveland home has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder.

Sixty-three-year-old Jamal Mansour was arraigned Wednesday in Cleveland. A judge reduced his bond to $1 million but said he cannot go free until after a bond hearing next week.

Mansour is charged with shooting 27-year-old Tahani Mansour three times in the head during an argument last month at their Rocky River home.

A Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County assistant prosecutor says the shooting was "planned" and Mansour is a risk to flee the country based on a translated recording of a phone call he made from jail.

Mansour's attorney disputes that. He says Mansour is a U.S. citizen and has health problems.

Mansour was born in Jordan and came to the U.S. in 1978.
