Pizza Hut is under the (possibly correct) assumption that we'll eat anything they feed us as long as it comes in the shape of a pizza, which goes a long way toward explaining their latest dessert offering.

On Monday, Pizza Hut debuted their Ultimate Hershey's Chocolate Chip Cookie, which is essentially a huge, baked-to-order chocolate chip cookie served in a pizza box:

"Millennials tell us it's what they want," said Pizza Hut's chief marketing officer Carrie Walsh of the 8-inch (in diameter) cookie. "They like to cap off a great pizza with a great dessert."

Priced at $5.99 (or $4.99 when ordered along with a pizza), the Ultimate Hershey's Chocolate Chip Cookie becomes the latest dessert to join Pizza Hut's roster of sweet offerings, which also includes Hershey's Chocolate Dunkers, or cookie bars that customers can dunk in an accompanying chocolate sauce.

As of now, however, Pizza Hut's new monstrous cookie doesn't appear to come with a complimentary chocolate sauce or icing — but c'mon. At 50¢ per order, you might as well go for it. (You're already eating a cookie the size of a pizza, for cryin' out loud.)
