Zoe Saldaña looked fabulous when she walked the red carpet at the Oscars last Sunday wearing a form-fitting custom Atelier Versace gown just three months after giving birth to her twin boys.

Now we know how she did it.

The “Avatar” actress revealed to Us Weekly that breastfeeding her sons Bowie and Cy helped get her body read for her first major red carpet appearance since their birth.

“Oh ,God, breastfeeding,” Saldaña said. “And just eating very healthy because I have to feed two babies. Just when you think you’re done feeding one, the other one is like, ‘I’m here!’ ‘Oh! You too? OK, here you go.’”

The 36-year-old, who is married to Italian artist Marco Perego, said it didn’t take long for her to settle on her Oscar gown.

“Petra (Flannery), my stylist, called and it was custom made for me,” she said of Versace, who is known for dressing celebrities after giving birth and making them look fantastic. “They have dressed other new moms before and they basically said, ‘OK. Just give us the measurements. It’s going to be fierce.’”

She added that the blush dress completely blew her away.

“And I felt so beautiful. I was like, ‘OK! I can do this,’” Saldaña said.

As for her two bouncing baby boys, the actress said they are already getting their own personalities.

“So Bowie’s Bowie and Cy is definitely Cy. And we know their cries – it’s bizarre,” she said. “Everybody’s asking us when we’re in the house, ‘Whose that?’ and we say, ‘Oh, it’s Bowie.’ Oh it’s Cy.’ And we know exactly what they mean, so it’s fantastic.”
