‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ goes to Cuba
The famous reality star family is taking heat for visiting the long-forbidden island-nation of Cuba, the new de-rigueur vacation stop for Hollywood celebs.
Michelle Rodriguez, known for having some outlandish opinions, is raising eyebrows with her recent comments about the gender pay gap in Hollywood.
Approached by TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport, the “Fast and Furious” actress compared the situation to slavery and seemed to be OK with it.
“That’s the world we live in – a patriarchal society,” she started, before acknowledging that she gets paid “a lot less” than her male co-stars. “I don’t complain. I’m not going to whine about it. It’s like being born a slave.”
She added: “You know it’s like, ‘Oh damn. Darn my luck. I wish I was born somewhere else or maybe some other way.’ But it is what it is.”
