You got to know when to hold 'em....

That's right, FOX411 sat down with country music legend Kenny Rogers this week on the occasion of the release of his memoir "Luck or Something Like It." Fans can read about everything from his childhood to his many marriages to the lessons he learned along his career path.

QA: Kenny Rogers' on "Luck or Something Like It."

Jason Aldean also made news this week -- the bad kind -- after photos of him getting close with "American Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr were posted on TMZ.  The married country singer apologized to fans on his Facebook saying he quote “acted inappropriately at a bar.” Kerr also sent out an apology through TMZ calling her actions a quote “lapse in judgment.”

But it wasn't all bad news for Aldean, whose “Take A Little Ride” hit #1 on Billboard and Mediabase charts, marking his sixth consecutive #1. The song is the lead single off his upcoming album "Night Train."

We've started our countdown to the 46th Annual CMA Awards on November 1. The Country Music Association named October “Country Music Month,” with various events leading up to the big show, including songwriter series shows and the 87th birthday celebration of the Grand Ole Opry.

Speaking of the Opry, there will soon be a new member. Darius Rucker was invited to join by his friend Brad Paisley. Paisley was in the audience and shouted the surprise to Rucker during an audience Q&A on October 2.  Rucker will be formally inducted later this month.

Getting a head start on the holidays, Blake Shelton released his first Christmas album this week. Called "Cheers, It’s Christmas," the album features duets with his wife, Miranda Lambert, and with his mom. Awww!

And if you don't know what to get that special Scotty McCreery fan in your life, how about tickets to the North Carolina Museum of History, where from October 1st through January 4th the "American Idol" winner will have his own exhibit -- Scotty McCreery: An American Idol.

Scotty also takes the spotlight as our featured song of the week! Thanks for clicking!
