Holiday shopping drives nearly everyone crazy–even some of Hollywood biggest celebrities. Despite the frenzy, FoxNews.com caught up with some very merry stars to see what’s at the top of their shopping list this year.
“Well, we are making it a big Christmas for Shoka, our German Shepherd,” mother of eight and CouponCabin.com blogger Kate Gosselin told FoxNews.com. “He is getting a tennis ball thrower and extra balls and lots of big beefy bones! The kids want to bring him in to 'open' his presents! I'm not sure how that's going to work, but that's the plan here!"
Sharon Stone is also busy preparing for the gift-giving season. “I love Dry Divas shower caps -- they are cute and a perfect stocking stuffer for moms, girlfriends and sisters” Stone told FoxNews.com. “Fun and affordable. And finally, a cute way to keep your hair dry when you are in a hurry in the shower.”
“The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd is brushing up on her Christmas list this year. “Everybody in my family loves purses, so I’m getting some purses for my nieces,” Shepherd told FoxNews.com. “If Justin Bieber has a purse, I’m going to fall on the floor,” said Shepherd of her nieces’ love of all things Bieber. “He probably does–he has nail polish and everything else. I’ve given into Bieber Fever.”
The menfolk in Shepherd’s are getting something slightly more masculine. “You can never get too many tools. Nobody in my sister’s family has a frickin’ drill. I helped them take down curtain rods with a Phillips-head screwdriver thinking, ‘Somebody hates me.’ So, I’m getting all of my brother-in-laws drills.”
Shepherd also had some suggestions for last-minutes gifts. “I’m a Target girl -- I love getting all the little stuff that nobody will ever use in the dollar bin for stocking stuffers,” said Shepherd. “Last year, I got everyone the George Forman Grill -- this year, everybody is getting the Oral B power toothbrush. I love it!”
As for Shepherd’s cohosts on “The View?” Nada. “We all came together and decided that we weren’t going to exchange gifts. We’re all so blessed, we don’t need anything.”
A fan of all things cozy, former “Real Housewives of New York” star Kelly Bensimon loves the comfy cowgirl slipper boots made by Ciccibella. "I first saw these adorable boots in Aspen and knew they would be great gifts for my kids," Bensimon told FoxNews.com. “Toddlers and Tiaras” star Eden Wood is also a fan of the sassy kicks.
If someone on your list likes to show off the shape and outline of their toes, Fila Skele-Toes Amp running shoes are the perfect gift. Nicole Richie is a fan, and blonde beauty Leven Rambin is planning on giving her “Of Men and Mavericks” costar Gerard Butler a pair of the revealing sneaks for Christmas.
Searching for something slightly silly for someone on your gift list? Stupid.com has a plethora of gag gifts that should make event the biggest grinch giggle. Justin Timberlake, Jay Leno and Chevy Chase are all fans of the purveyors of Christmas tree hats, bacon ornaments and their infamous pooping reindeer holiday sweater.
Rocker Bret Michaels is planning on stuffing stockings with t-shirts this year. “These exclusive t-shirts are the perfect gift for all the rock stars on your list,” Michaels told FoxNews.com. “Both guys’ and girls’ styles are available in one-of-a-kind designs perfect for rocking out -- or just hanging out. If you’re looking for an edgy alternative to ho-hum holiday gifts, these will fit the bill.”
New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez also has t-shirts on his gift list. “My father has been a firefighter for over 30 years so I was inspired to buy a t-shirt that benefited the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children's Benefit Fund and the FDNY Foundation,” Sanchez told FoxNews.com. “The quote ‘You Go, We Go’ is from the firefighting film ‘Backdraft,’ and features the number 6, which is my jersey number, but also my father's firehouse number. This is the perfect stocking stuffer for family or friends - a cool designer shirt that benefits a great cause!"
In the spirit of giving, actress Kristen Bell designed a delicate gold Acholi necklace with Satya Jewelry to benefit Invisible Children, a non-profit organization committed to ending the use of child soldiers in East Africa and rebuilding the war-affected region.
“Going to Northern Uganda, seeing how these education programs work–it forever changed me,” Bell said about her recent visit to East Africa. “This isn’t a charity; it isn’t about handouts. It’s about partnering with these people in pursuing a brilliant and productive future.”
