Boxing legend Muhammad Ali was rushed to the hospital last month after becoming unconscious at his wife's home near Phoenix, Star Magazine reported Friday, citing multiple sources.

Ali, 69, was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center on Nov. 19 after passing out upon his return to the gated property in Paradise Valley, Ariz.

His wife, Yolanda Ali, dialed 911 around 6:30pm local time, reporting that her husband, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's syndrome in 1984, was unconscious.

Ali was taken to the hospital before paramedics could reach the home, the Paradise Valley Fire Department confirmed.

It was unclear how long the American icon remained in the hospital, but the magazine reported that he spent the Thanksgiving weekend with family in Las Vegas.

The health scare came five days after Ali joined boxing's biggest names to commemorate the life of his legendary former foe Joe Frazier in Philadelphia. Frazier died Nov. 7 at the age of 67, within weeks of being diagnosed with liver cancer.
