Family, neighbors and a bus full of co-workers from New York gathered at a Massachusetts church Tuesday to remember a woman killed while out for a run near her mother's home.

The funeral Mass for 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic in Leominster was set to be followed by burial at Woodside Cemetery in Westminster.

Marcotte's body was found Aug. 7 in the woods near her mother's home in the small town of Princeton.

State police have received more than 600 tips, but no arrests have been made. They have said her attacker may have cuts, scratches and bruises from a struggle.

Marcotte grew up in Leominster, graduated from Boston University and worked as an account manager at Google in New York City.
