A relative of an Arkansas teenager accused in the shooting deaths of a couple who raised him as their grandson has been charged with hindering apprehension of the teen.

Randy Staton, the 58-year-old maternal grandfather of 14-year-old Justin Staton, surrendered to police on the charge Friday morning. The younger Staton along with 18-year-old Hunter Drexler, have pleaded not guilty to capital murder charges in the July shootings of Patricia and Robert Cogdell, both 66, in Conway.

Prosecutors charged two more teenagers, Conner Atchley and Anastasia Roberts, both 17, with first degree murder and theft by receiving.

Justin Staton's mother, Michelle Staton, was also charged with hindering apprehension Thursday. Randy and Michelle Staton, Atchley and Roberts are all scheduled for their first court appearances Friday morning.
