Authorities in North Carolina said a truck driver fell asleep behind the wheel of his tractor-trailer and crashed on a highway Friday morning, causing potatoes to spill out across the road.
State troopers said the driver was traveling southbound on Interstate 77 and hit a concrete barrier at around 2 a.m. WBTV reported that the highway is expected to be shut down for hours, and likely to cause headaches for morning commuters.
