NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – A man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, her parents and her new boyfriend and leaving their bodies in a field is expected to appear in a Florida court.
Twenty-eight-year-old Adam Matos will have a first appearance before a Pasco County judge on Tuesday afternoon. A short time later, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco is scheduled to hold a news conference about the investigation.
Authorities say Matos recently moved from Pennsylvania to Florida with his girlfriend and her family.
An arrest report says Matos took his 4-year-old son from the home after the killings in late August. He and the unharmed boy were found at a Tampa hotel Sept. 4 after a manhunt.
