DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – A Detroit-area man who served 16 years in prison for killing his first wife has been charged with killing his two children and two stepchildren, and attacking his wife.
Charges were filed Thursday against Gregory V. Green, a day after his daughters, ages 4 and 5, died of carbon monoxide poisoning and his teenage stepchildren were fatally shot at the family's Dearborn Heights home.
Green also is accused of attacking his wife, Faith Green, who is the mother of all four children. Authorities say she was shot and cut but survived. She recently filed for divorce.
They married in 2010, two years after Gregory Green left prison. He pleaded no contest to killing his first wife in 1991.
Green will appear in court Thursday. He doesn't yet have an attorney.
