NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Authorities in South Carolina are investigating a shooting in which the victim drove himself to the hospital with a bullet wound to the head.
Berkeley County Chief Deputy Mike Cochran tells news outlets that the shooting happened about 2 a.m. Wednesday.
He says authorities do not think the wound was self-inflicted.
The name of the man being treated at a hospital in North Charleston and other details of the shooting were not immediately released.
