A New York dentist has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography and investigators are looking into whether any of his patients could have been victims.
John Wolf was arrested at his home Friday. Federal prosecutors say the Manhattan dentist provided services to a drug dealer in exchange for methamphetamine he uses and also distributes. They say the 59-year-old provided a flash drive containing pornography to an undercover agent and told the agent he used his office to view and distribute the illicit images.
Wolf was being held ahead of a court appearance in federal court and could not be reached. A person who answered at the office declined to comment.
Federal officials are asking anyone with information regarding the case to call the FBI at 212-384-5000.
