HARTFORD, Conn. – A Connecticut man who police say jumped from a bridge with his infant son is set to be arraigned a day after the child's body was pulled from the water.
State judicial officials say Tony Moreno will be arraigned Wednesday morning at the hospital where he's been since firefighters rescued him from the Connecticut River on Sunday night.
Details on what charges Moreno faces were not immediately available. It was not known if the 22-year-old Middletown man has a lawyer.
The body of the 7-month-old Aaden Moreno was found Tuesday night near a swing bridge in East Haddam, south of the bridge where investigators say his father jumped.
Dive teams and helicopters had been searching for the infant since Sunday.
