Cops: 1 shot at Rolex dealer in New York mall and is in serious condition, 1 person in custody

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Police in New York say one person has been shot at a Rolex dealer inside a Long Island mall and another person is in custody.

Acting Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas Krumpter says the shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Roosevelt Field Mall. He says the victim has been taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Krumpter says one shot was fired.

The Rolex store is on the mall's main level.
