The sheriff's office says Monday that Alex P. Hendry was reported missing by his Onondaga Community College roommate Sunday evening after he failed to return home from a Saturday night off-campus party.
Hendry's body was found outside around 1 a.m. Monday near the college's baseball fields. The temperature was well below zero.
The sheriff's office says Hendry was last seen leaving the party on foot early Sunday. Foul play is not suspected.
A statement released by the college says Hendry was a freshman from Rochester majoring in general studies and was on the college baseball team.
