INDIANAPOLIS – Prosecutors say a 13-year-old boy is charged in the fatal shooting of a 9-year-old boy last month in suburban Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1ttQ3OI ) that the teenager is charged in the May 27 death of Anthony Harmon Jr. The boy was shot in the face in the kitchen of an apartment in Cumberland and pronounced dead at the scene.
Court documents show the 13-year-old will be kept in custody because of the murder charge and to protect him and the community. He has denied the allegations
The Marion County prosecutor says in court documents that the case will remain in juvenile court.
