STATE DEPARTMENT WON’T RULE OUT $50B ‘SIGNING BONUS’ FOR IRAN
Charles Payne: A signing bonus? This is absolutely nuts but it underscores a fact. President Obama wants to get this done no matter what, buy hook or by crook. Here is the thing though, Iran knows it. They haven’t stopped any other stuff they are doing in the Middle East, they thumb their nose at us. When this comes out it will be the worst deal with a $50 billion cherry on top.
Dagen McDowell: The ayatollah knows, hes already gotten so many concessions to get Iran to sign the framework. The Ayatollah knows he can ask for more so he does.
Charlies Gasparino : What the Ayatollah wants the Ayatollah gets. I want to hear Adam defend this.
Adam Lashinksy: This is called a negotiation. We have the economic leverage, they can make weapons grade plutonium. We would like them to have out money and not make nuclear weapons. We would do anything within reason to accomplish that.
Ben Stein: The Iranians have broken every promise and every deal. They haven’t even said they changed their ways, they say death to America and death to Israel. This is a deal that is going to be the end of Israel.
DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS PUSHING COLLEGE AID FOR SOME ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
Ben Stein: They are called illegals for a reason. They came here illegally, why are we giving subsidies to people breaking the law?
Charlie Gasparino: It does have a perverse effect on college prices, When Fannie and Freddie were handing out the money for housing, it drives the prices up. Those costs are incrementally pushed up by giving them to illegal immigrants.
Dagen McDowell: We are required by law to educate illegal immigrant children in the public school system. I don’t see the need to go as far as Pell grants. President Obama in 2012gave amnesty to young people in this country, we are doing more and more and we have to draw a line.
Charles Payne: 22 states give in-state tuition to illegal immigrants, so if they wanted to go to the University of Virginia they pay $10,000, if my kid wants to go they pay $36,000. We have gone so far beyond the guilt spectrum that it boggles the mind.
Adam Lashinksy: Let’s be honest, there are all sorts of give-aways throughout the economy for all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons.
UNION CLAIMS WALMART CLOSED STORES TO RETALIATE AGAINST STRIKING WORKERS
Charles Payne : They won’t be happy till they own Walmart. I understand the long term goals and they will never be satisfied.
Charlie Gasparino: This is a feel good story about unions. This is what they are paid to do, to go out an unionize.
Dagen McDowell- These Closures looks sudden and fishy and weird. The problem is this goes to the NLRB which is union friendly. Walmart wont get a fair shake here.
Ben Stein: They can unionize if they want, I don’t care, they have the best honey sliced ham in the world.
Adam Lashinksy: I think we all are in agreement the unions will not lay off Walmart until they are unionized. That is a fair statement.
