St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Wild goaltender Darcy Kuemper has been placed on injured reserve.

The Wild did not disclose the injury, which apparently took place during practice Wednesday, but coach Mike Yeo said at Thursday's morning skate that he thought Kuemper wouldn't be available for at least a week.

Kuemper has appeared in 28 games this season for the Wild and has a record of 13-12-1 with three shutouts and a 2.68 goals-against average.

The Wild will also be without forward Zach Parise and defenseman Marco Scandella for Thursday's game against Chicago. Parise's father died Wednesday and Scandella was hurt during Tuesday's game against San Jose.

Minnesota recalled goaltender John Curry, forward Jordan Schroeder and defenseman Jonathon Blum from its American Hockey League affiliate in Iowa.
