Welcome to another edition of "Weekend Blitz," a column that will appear on FOXSports.com each Friday during the football season. Consider this one of your must-read features as you wrap up the week and head into a Saturday and Sunday filled with pigskin. We'll be giving out NFL picks, possibly some college football picks and plug some of the best content from the world of sports and pop culture.

Thanks to the Indianapolis Colts storming right through the backdoor with a late meaningless touchdown that prevented the New England Patriots from covering last week, we finished Week 6 at 4-3 instead of 5-2. We were so close, yet so far away from an impressive week, and now the season record sits as 15-13-1. We have four favorites this week and love them all.
THE PICKS
RAMS -6.5 VS. BROWNS: Each of Cleveland's last three games have been decided by just three points. That run ends Sunday against a physical St. Louis defense coming off a bye week. If the Rams do something other teams haven't -- cover Cleveland tight end Gary Barnidge -- this should be an easy cover for the Rams. With the Browns owning the worst rush defense in the NFL, you will see a monster Sunday from running back Todd Gurley, who is coming off games of 146 and 159 yards.
FALCONS -5.5 AT TITANS: Don't let Atlanta's first loss of the season two Thursdays ago in New Orleans discourage you from laying less than touchdown on the road against a bad team. The Falcons are still one of the best teams in the NFC and still possess a lethal offense thanks to Julio Jones and Davonta Freeman. Tennessee, with or without an injured Marcus Mariota, won't be able to keep up with Atlanta in this one.
REDSKINS -3.5 VS. BUCS: Everyone is going crazy about Kirk Cousins' poor play, but let's offer a little perspective. The Redskins lost last week, on the road, to the Jets, who have the top defense in the NFL. In its previous game, on the road, Washington took Atlanta to overtime. Now the Redskins get a home game against a team giving up 30 points a game. The line makes no sense. This has blowout written all over it
VIKINGS -2 AT LIONS: We've been on the Vikings all year, and outside of Week 1, they've been good to us. We'll play with fire and take them as a road favorite simply because we like the matchup. Minnesota's offense still hasn't made the strides we expected, but the defense is allowing the second-fewest point per game (16.6) in the NFL. This should be enough to get them a win on Sunday since they don't have a run game to worry about stopping and can focus solely on forcing Matt Stafford to be Matt Stafford and throw a few picks. Expect a huge day from Adrian Peterson, who was bottled up against the Chiefs last week, against Detroit's porous run defense. Lastly, here's a little nugget for you: In his career, Stafford as a home underdog is 3-7-1 against the spread.
