BRADENTON, Fla. – The United States won 13 of 18 singles points Saturday to rout Britain and Ireland 29-7 in the Concession Cup golf matches for mid-amateur, senior and super-senior players.
U.S. captain Vinny Giles, Jim Holtgrieve, Tim Jackson, Scott Harvey, Patrick Christovich, Brady Exber, Doug Hanzel, Mike McCoy and Chip Lutz were undefeated in the three-day event at The Concession Golf Club.
The U.S. retained the Bonallack Campbell Trophy after winning the inaugural event 21 1/2-14 1/2 last year.
