The new cast for "The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption" has been revealed with a slew of familiar faces decorating the 25th edition of the long running reality series.

The new season will be coached by bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and his former teammate T.J. Dillashaw as they lead two teams of welterweights made up of former "Ultimate Fighter" contestants including one fighter still on the current UFC roster.

"The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption" debuts on Wednesday night April 19 at 10 p.m. ET on FS1.

Likely the most surprising name at the top of the list is former "Ultimate Fighter" season 2 winner Joe Stevenson, who returns nearly 12 years after first appearing on the show.

Since his last fight in the UFC in 2011, Stevenson retired from the sport and ended up working as a consultant on the popular Audience channel series "Kingdom" before making his return to action in 2016 with a pair of wins on the regional circuit.

Former season 19 winner Eddie Gordon and his opponent in the finale Dhiego Lima are both back for the new incarnation of the show. Gordon made an impressive run through his season of "The Ultimate Fighter" but failed to duplicate that success in the UFC while putting together a 1-3 record before being released.

Gordon moved down to welterweight where he picked up a win last August before his return to the UFC by way of "The Ultimate Fighter" this season.

One of the most interesting additions to the show this season is James Krause, who is actually riding a two-fight winning streak in the UFC currently. Krause previously appeared on "The Ultimate Fighter" season 15 but lost in his elimination fight to get into the house.

Now Krause will look for redemption as he joins a cast of fellow UFC and "Ultimate Fighter" veterans on the show this season.

The new season will consist of 12 episodes with the semi-finalists then competing in the finale in July for a UFC contract and a $250,000 prize.
