Beating Texas isn't such a daunting task these days, but in years past, going in to Austin and escaping with a win was very, very difficult. Now? It's quite plausible.
Texas Tech, especially, has not had much luck historically when going into Austin. But this year's team has a very good shot at beating the Longhorns, with a high-octane offense led by Patrick Mahomes, DeAndre Washington and Jakeem Grant.
"It's obviously a great program they have and Texas Tech hasn't had a ton of success against them, particularly in recent years so it's a great opportunity on national TV and I just talk about making the most of it," Kingsbury said.
