BARCELONA, Spain --

Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams continued to impress by scoring a superb goal to help beat Espanyol 2-1 in the Spanish league on Sunday.

The 21-year-old Williams has scored four goals in the league this season and netted a double in Thursday's 5-1 rout of Partizan in the Europa League.

His eighth-minute opener against Espanyol combined creativity, speed and a fine finishing touch.

Marked by two defenders, Williams lifted the ball over the head of Enzo Roco, quickly turned and fired in a powerful strike before the ball hit the ground.

Hernan Perez leveled for the visitors in the 51st, but Raul Garcia headed Bilbao back in front in the 64th.

Bilbao extended its unbeaten run to six rounds and reclaimed eighth place, while Espanyol fell to 12th.
