Phoenix, AZ – Phoenix Suns forward Channing Frye had surgery on his right shoulder, the team announced Wednesday.
Frye missed the last two games of the season after injuring the shoulder in the second quarter April 21 against the Denver Nuggets.
The successful procedure was performed in Anaheim, California.
Frye averaged 10.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in 64 games this past season, including 59 starts. He has averaged double-digits points in three straight seasons with the Suns, a new career-high.
