Spurs draw gives Leicester chance to clinch title on Sunday

LONDON – Tottenham handed Leicester the chance to win the Premier League for the first time this weekend after the north London club was held 1-1 by West Bromwich Albion on Monday.

Leicester, a team transformed since narrowly avoiding relegation a year ago, can clinch the biggest prize in English football by beating Manchester United on Sunday.

With Leicester now holding a seven-point lead over Tottenham, Claudio Ranieri's team has room for error in its remaining three games.

West Brom — one of only two teams Leicester hasn't beaten in its last nine games — did the central England team a big favor at White Hart Lane.

Craig Dawson denied Tottenham the win with a 73rd-minute header after the defender's own goal gifted the hosts the lead in the first half.
