ROCHESTER, Mich. – Ryan Harrow scored 16 of his 23 points in the first half on Monday, and Georgia State beat Chicago State 69-46 in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic at Oakland University.
Georgia State (2-2) jumped ahead 18-3, built a 36-13 halftime lead and maintained its advantage after an even second half.
R.J. Hunter and Curtis Washington added 11 points apiece for the Panthers.
Anthony Glover had 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting to lead Chicago State (2-3), but the rest of the Cougars were 8 of 37 (21.6 percent) from the field.
Clarke Rosenberg's 3-pointer capped Chicago State's 13-3 second-half run that closed the deficit to 53-34 with 7:22 left. Rosenberg added 14 points for the Cougars, who had 12 offensive rebounds but turned the ball over 23 times.
