Kerkrade, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Jairo Riedewald produced a late brace at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion on Sunday to help Ajax to a 2-1 defeat of Roda.
Henk Dijkhuizen opened the scoring in the 34th minute for the home side, and it looked as if Roda would stave off a heap of pressure from Ajax to collect all three points, but an 88th-minute strike from Riedewald brought the visitors level.
Riedewald went on to grab the winner in the second minute of stoppage time, helping Ajax improve to 37 points on the season to bring the club back to the top of the Eredivisie table. Roda remains on 20 points for the season.
Also in the Dutch top flight on Sunday, Michael de Leeuw helped Groningen snap a two-game slide by netting a hat trick in the club's 5-2 defeat of NEC, Jurgen Locadia scored both goals in PSV Eindhoven's 2-0 defeat of 10-man Den Haag and Job van der Linden converted a second-half penalty to lead Go Ahead Eagles to a 2-1 win over Utrecht.
