Reveco defeats Vor Saengthep to retain WBA flyweight belt

Mendoza, Argentina (SportsNetwork.com) - WBA flyweight champion Juan Carlos Reveco retained his title on Friday with a fifth round TKO over challenger Yodmongkol Vor Saengthep.

Fighting in front of his compatriots, Reveco (35-1, 19 KOs) tagged Vor Saengthep (34-3, 20 KOs) with a body shot that dropped him to the mat in round five.

Vor Saengthep beat the count and tried to hold off Reveco, who was peppering him with punches before the referee waived the fight off 40 seconds into the fifth round.
