ASHBURN, Va. – The Washington Redskins have placed cornerback Tracy Porter on season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
The Redskins made the move Wednesday.
Porter separated his right AC joint in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Porter was signed this year as a free agent from the Oakland Raiders, but he played in only three games. He spent much of the season dealing with a pulled right hamstring.
He is the second Redskins player to go on IR this week. Linebacker and special teams captain Adam Hayward hurt his right knee against the 49ers.
