The Ravens lost a defensive struggle to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but Baltimore's biggest concern after the game was the struggle their defense will face the rest of the season with the news that six-time Pro Bowl linebacker Terrell Suggs has suffered a season-ending Achilles injury.

The team announced the injury shortly after the game.

Suggs, who had 12 sacks last season, was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Baltimore's 19-13 loss, and the team tweeted after the game that his season was over.

The 32-year-old has missed only 11 games since the Ravens selected him 10th overall in the 2003 draft.
