During Game 5 between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers, the Rangers scored on a weird, controversial play in the seventh inning.

With Rougned Odor at third base, Jays catcher Russell Martin tried to throw the ball back to pitcher Aaron Sanchez, but the ball hit Rangers batter Shin-Soo Choo, who was standing in the batter's box in the process.

The ball got away and Odor took off for home, putting the Rangers up 3-2.

After multiple reviews by the umpires, they determined that the run counted.

After the ruling, the Blue Jays declared that the game is being played under protest and Toronto fans began showering the field with beer cans and signs and general garbage.
