Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist out at least 3 weeks after being hit in throat by shot

The New York Rangers say star goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will be out for at least three weeks after being hit in the throat by a shot.

The Rangers said Friday that Lundqvist sustained a vascular injury in a game last weekend. The Rangers say they are talking to top medical experts about his recovery.

Lundqvist was hurt Saturday when he was struck by a shot from Carolina's Brad Malone.
