The lightweight title will be up for grabs at FOX UFC Fight Night in Orlando as Rafael dos Anjos puts his championship on the line for the first time as he faces Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone on Dec. 19.

UFC officials confirmed the main event Thursday.

This will be a rematch between the two lightweights after first meeting in 2013, with dos Anjos coming out on top by unanimous decision.

Most recently, dos Anjos has reeled off four wins in a row, including his lightweight title victory over Anthony Pettis this past March.

Since losing to dos Anjos in 2013, Cerrone has gone on an incredible run in the UFC's lightweight division, winning his past eight fights to earn his first title shot since joining the promotion.

Cerrone was declared the No. 1 contender in May following a TKO win over John Makdessi, and now he'll finally get his chance to avenge the previous loss to dos Anjos while fighting for the UFC lightweight title.

FOX UFC Fight Night goes down from the Amway Center in Orlando and will mark the final event of the year for the promotion.

More fights will be announced for the upcoming card in the next few weeks.
