TEMPE, Ariz. – This week's sweltering session of OTAs came to an end for the Arizona Cardinals, with quarterback Carson Palmer saying he still has work to do before he has a complete grasp of coach Bruce Arians' offense.
Gaining an appreciation of wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is a bit easier.
Palmer says there was a catch during practice Thursday that only Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson — aka Megatron — could make.
For his part, Fitzgerald — who has endured a dearth of quarterback talent since Kurt Warner retired — says there's not a throw Palmer can't make. Fitzgerald says Palmer has "tremendous touch."
Still, Palmer says that it will take time to develop the chemistry between the two.
