QB Palmer using workouts to get comfortable with Fitzgerald and Cardinals' system

This week's sweltering session of OTAs came to an end for the Arizona Cardinals, with quarterback Carson Palmer saying he still has work to do before he has a complete grasp of coach Bruce Arians' offense.

Gaining an appreciation of wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is a bit easier.

Palmer says there was a catch during practice Thursday that only Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson — aka Megatron — could make.

For his part, Fitzgerald — who has endured a dearth of quarterback talent since Kurt Warner retired — says there's not a throw Palmer can't make. Fitzgerald says Palmer has "tremendous touch."

Still, Palmer says that it will take time to develop the chemistry between the two.
