Two properties connected to former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez have become the latest evidence investigators have found linking Hernandez to a murder investigation.

Police have confiscated several pieces of evidence from a condo in Franklin, Mass., and a home owned by Hernandez's uncle in Bristol, Conn., is also being searched by Boston police.

Investigators continue to gather and search for more evidence as Hernandez remains in a jail cell charged in the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, of Dorchester, a semi-pro football player and Hernandez's friend.

Search warrant documents show that police located a white hooded-sweatshirt and a baseball cap allegedly worn by Hernandez the night Lloyd was murdered at an apartment Hernandez rented in Franklin.

Investigators said they also found a valet parking ticket from the W. Hotel, which is within walking distance of the Rumor nightclub.

That's the location where prosecutors allege Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd's murder because he was angry with Lloyd about something Lloyd had said to people at the club that Hernandez did not like.

Police say they also found ammunition in the apartment, including .45-caliber ammo – the same caliber as the handgun used in the murder.

The warrant had also requested an "all persons present warrant" in connection with a cell phone belonging to Carlos Ortiz that had been left at the Franklin apartment. Investigators said Ortiz referred to the apartment as a "flop house."

Ortiz is also Hernandez's friend and is also a suspect in them murder investigation.

The warrant said "the nature of the sale of cocaine is such that the participants are constantly changing...an all persons present warrant would enable investigating officers to search any persons that may be concealing this cellular device on their person." It was not immediately known if any cocaine was recovered.

All the recovered items could be key pieces of evidence as the investigation into another case involving Hernandez expands into Connecticut.

Boston police now confirm they have asked police in Bristol, Conn., to assist in the investigation into a double murder in the South End.

Hernandez is from Bristol. As Fox 25, the Fox News affiliate in Boston, first reported, Hernandez is being investigated in connection with the murder of two men last July.

Last week, police searched a home in Bristol for evidence in this case, as well as the murder of Lloyd, for which Hernandez is already charged

A vehicle was seized from the home. And Hernandez's former college teammate and current Patriots player, Tim Tebow, apparently was a witness in another Hernandez incident in Florida several years ago.

The two were at a bar called The Swamp in Gainesville, Fla., back in 2007. According to police reports, Hernandez got into a scuffle with an employee about the bill and allegedly punched the worker in the head, rupturing the man's eardrum.

Tebow's listed as a witness on the police report. The two played football at the University of Florida together. Tebow told police he tried to break them up before the argument got physical.

Police continue to search for a side view mirror from a rental car they believed was used in connection with the murder of Lloyd.

The third suspect in this case is Ernest Wallace, who remains in Florida but is expected to be returned to Massachusetts.
