Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Pirates activated day disabled list on Wednesday.
He had been on the DL since August 24, retroactively to August 23, with muscle spasms in his mid-back.
Acquired from San Diego at the non-waiver trade deadline on July 31, he was batting .262 with a home run and seven RBI over 21 games with the Pirates prior to his stint on the DL.
