Phillies game vs. Mets rained out
Flushing, NY – Friday night's series opener between the champion Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets at Citi Field has been postponed due to rain.
It will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game scheduled for 1:10 p.m (et) and the second game set for 7:10 p.m.
In addition, Sunday's start time has been pushed back to 2:10 p.m.
Cole Hamels (14-9) will pitch for the Phillies in Saturday's day game and Joe Blanton (1-2) will take the mound in the nightcap. The Mets will go with R.A. Dickey (8-13) in the opener and Dillon Gee (12-6) in the second contest.
