Panthers waive CB Cason

Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Carolina Panthers waived starting cornerback Antoine Cason on Tuesday.

Cason started all but one of the team's 12 games this season, registering 55 tackles, four forced fumbles and two interceptions.

The Panthers also waived linebacker Jason Williams and signed cornerback Carrington Byndom and linebacker Horace Miller to the active roster from the practice squad.
