Panthers' Rivera and family unharmed after house fire

Charlotte, NC ( - The home of Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera sustained damage after a fire on Monday morning, but no one was harmed.

The Panthers revealed the news through Twitter on Monday morning and said the coach would be available for his usual press conference later in the day as the team prepares for this week's NFC playoff game against Seattle.

According to the Charlotte Observer, the two-alarm fire was reported just after 4 a.m. ET in south Charlotte. The fire department initially called it an accidental fire and said it took just over an hour to control the blaze.
