Kevin Pangos and Robert Sacre each scored 15 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs over the Pepperdine Waves, 60.

Guy Landry Edi added 13 points for the Bulldogs (18-4, 8-2 WCC), who bounced back from an 83-73 loss at BYU on Thursday night.

Corbin Moore ended with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Waves (8-15, 2-10), who have lost two in a row. Joshua Lowery donated 11 points.

The Bulldogs started the game on a 17-5 run. Edi, Gary Bell and Pangos all made three-pointers during the burst.

Ahead 22-16 with 8:22 to go, Gonzaga went on a 13-4 flurry to create some distance. Mathis Moenninghoff sparked the surge with a three-pointer and Sam Dower's two free throws made it a 35-20 game with 1:11 left.

Manny Ochenje made 1-of-2 from the foul line with 10 seconds remaining to cut the gap to 35-21 at the half.

Trailing 44-30 with 15:25 to play, the Waves put together a 12-0 run to get back in the game. Nikolas Skouen made back-to-back three-pointers to start the surge, which Lowery capped with a trey and free throw.

Suddenly ahead by just two, 44-42, Pangos switched the momentum with a three- pointer.

Holding a 50-48 edge with under nine minutes remaining, Gonzaga scored 10 straight points to pull away. Edi tallied the final six points of the run to make it a 60-48 game with 4:15 left.

Pepperdine never got closer than eight the rest of the way.

Gonzaga beat Pepperdine, 73-45, in Spokane on January 5. The Bulldogs lead the all-time series by a 42-31 margin and have won each of the last 22 matchups... The Waves haven't beaten a ranked opponent since 1994...Gonzaga shot 50 percent from the floor and went 21-for-28 from the foul line, while Pepperdine shot 42.6 percent and went 6-for-12 from the charity stripe.
